​​Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) Grants - Ongoing (No Deadline)
GOCO offers two grant cycles each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Applications for our spring grant cycle are typically due in March, with grant decisions made by the GOCO Board in June; applications for our fall cycle are typically due in August, with decisions made in December.

Learning Landscapes - Ongoing (No Deadline)

This is a forward-thinking program within the University of Colorado Denver that connects the design and construction of urban public spaces with healthy initiatives. Since 1998, in partnership with Denver Public Schools, they have transformed 96 neglected public elementary school playgrounds into attractive and safe multi-use parks tailored to the needs and desires of their neighbors and communities. Learning Landscapes leads UCD students, elementary schools, and community members in the redesign of schoolyards into fun, multi-use parks designed to reflect the culture of the surrounding community.

Youth Programs - Ongoing (No Deadline)
The LIDS Foundation seeks to support young people in LIDS communities, and works to engage them in sports-related activities. Funding is provided to support: community-based programs addressing active lifestyle and team building skills for local youth; and organizations that are committed to encouraging children to engage in activities which will benefit their health, both physically and mentally. Range: $1,000 to $5,000. Eligibility:  Nonprofit organizations serving areas LIDS Sports Group has a presence. Apply:
United States: Childhood Obesity Prevention & Wellness - Ongoing (No Deadline)
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation promotes effective, sustainable and scalable childhood obesity prevention strategies that: increase children’s knowledge about the benefits of good nutrition and exercise; improve children’s attitudes about eating well and exercising; promote healthy behaviors; and increase access to nutritious foods and to safe places where families and kids can engage in physical activity. Bank of the West Foundation Grants - Ongoing (No Deadline)
The mission of Bank of the West's Charitable Investments Program is to help meet the needs of the communities we serve by supporting nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving quality of life, particularly for low- and moderate-income individuals and communities. Average Amount Awarded: $1,000-$10,000.

The Xerox Foundation Grants – Ongoing (No Deadline)
The foundation supports: Education/Workforce Preparedness, Science/Technology, Employee/Community Affairs, and Environmental Affairs.  Average Amount Awarded: $1,000-$5,000.

Brinker International Grants – Ongoing (No Deadline)
Brinker International supports projects which provide direct and immediate relief to the community, customers, and employees in areas where they operate various restaurants. Their main areas of giving are health, social services, arts and education, and diversity.
